Spindle Earrings

I call these "spindle earrings" because the dangles, turned from brass rod on a small lathe, are reminiscent of staircase railing spindles. Other materials used to fabricate the earrings are brass wire, aluminum rivets, anodized titanium, and -- for the ear wires -- anodized niobium, which is hypoallergenic. The anodizing process turns the gray-colored titanium and niobium metals into pleasing shades of blue and teal. The earring drop is 2.4 inches (60mm).
